And precisely zero of those billions were built for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not for the SMB owner figuring out which AI tool to use Monday morning. Not for the operator wondering whether to automate intake or reporting first. Not for the 12-person agency or the law firm with three partners trying to decide if AI is worth the disruption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The capital is concentrated at the infrastructure and foundation model layer. The deployment layer, the people, processes, and readiness that help real businesses use the tools, is an afterthought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Microsoft went GA with Agent 365. KPMG is deploying agents globally. NTT DATA and Google Cloud are rolling out 500 agents across enterprise industries. 100% of enterprises surveyed have agentic AI on their 2026 roadmap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, 70% of SMBs are stuck in the experimental phase. The technology inside those $965 billion companies is powerful and inaccessible to the businesses that make up the backbone of the economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This isn’t a conspiracy. It’s economics. Building an AI deployment practice for the HVAC company in Dallas doesn’t attract a $330 million Series B. The unit economics don’t scale the way VCs need them to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But there are 33 million small businesses in the US. If even 10% need structured AI deployment support in the next two years, that’s a market in the hundreds of billions. It just doesn’t look like a single platform play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
