Refund Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026 · Applies to paid products sold via https://mattmurphy.ai (including the Rapid Platform Audit).

Free kits and community memberships are not covered by this paid-product policy. This policy applies to paid token purchases and token-redeemed services on mattmurphy.ai (including the Rapid Platform Audit).

1. Scope

This policy covers paid digital services on mattmurphy.ai, including token bundle purchases processed through Stripe and services redeemed with tokens (currently the Rapid Platform Audit at 200 tokens). Keynotes, consulting retainers, and Faction Group build work are governed by their own statements of work or agreements.

2. Rapid Platform Audit

The Rapid Platform Audit is a digital professional service: intake, repository access via Faction Audit Reader where required, automated and human-assisted analysis, and delivery of a branded PDF report (target: within 24 hours of confirmed submission and usable repo access).

  • Token-spent audits: Once you submit an audit and tokens are deducted, the service is considered started. Token re-credit rules are in the Token Purchases section below.
  • After work begins or the report is delivered: Completed audit work is non-refundable in tokens or cash. The deliverable is custom analysis of your repository; once produced, it cannot be “returned.”
  • If we cannot deliver: If we fail to deliver a report within a reasonable period after submission and after you have granted required access (public repo URL or Faction Audit Reader install on the correct private repo), contact support. We will either complete the audit promptly or re-credit the tokens spent.
  • Access issues: Delays caused by missing or incorrect repo access, wrong URL, or revoked GitHub App install are not grounds for a re-credit while we are waiting on you to restore access.

3. How to request a refund

Email support@mattmurphy.ai with:

  • The email used at checkout
  • Approximate purchase date and amount
  • Stripe receipt / payment ID if available
  • A short reason for the request

We aim to respond within one business day. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method; bank posting times vary (typically 5–10 business days).

4. Chargebacks & disputes

Please contact us before filing a chargeback so we can resolve the issue directly. If a dispute is filed, we may submit evidence including this policy (version in effect at purchase), checkout records, intake submission, access confirmations, and report delivery records.

5. Recurring products

mattmurphy.ai does not currently sell recurring billing products for the Rapid Platform Audit. If recurring products are added later, cancellation and refund terms will be stated on that product’s page and in an updated version of this policy.

6. Consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer law. If those rights conflict with this policy, the law controls.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. The version linked from the site and referenced at checkout at the time of purchase applies to that order. Material changes will update the “Last updated” date above.

Token Purchases

Token purchases are final. Tokens do not expire and can be used at any time.

Because tokens are a prepaid credit that can be redeemed at any time and never lose value through expiry, all token purchases are final and non-refundable once the purchase is complete. This applies to every bundle at every price point.

Tokens are credited to a single account and are not transferable to any other account or person. Tokens have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money, and cannot be sold or exchanged.

Services paid for with tokens (audits, fix skills, and audit re-runs) are digital services that begin processing immediately on submission. Once a service has started, the tokens spent on it are not returned. If a service fails to deliver due to an error on our side, we re-credit the tokens spent on that service in full. Re-credited tokens are the sole remedy for a failed service.

Disputing a token charge with your card issuer after the tokens have been credited to your account does not entitle you to a refund. The tokens were delivered at the moment they were credited, and the transaction record in your account history documents that delivery.
